I have been using George Greenstein's bagel recipe for years. I add the 24 hour (or more) refrigeration period that is in the old-school NYC bagel making style. Only thing that is missing is New York water.

Comfort foods: Kat Chitica and La Moderna pasta

I had a pizza making party over the weekend to celebrate my birthday. I asked my friends to come prepared to tell me the story about a favorite comfort food. Actually bringing said comfort food was a bonus, but all that was required was the story. Kat told a story about the La Moderna pasta dishes her mom used to make.
